My name is Amanda J. B-Miller.

I am a artist [28 year old ♀️ from Canada] with a passion for palaeontology and a fascination with medieval fantasy. My major influences of inspiration are E.E. Knights’ AGE OF FIRE novel series, Universal Pictures DRAGONHEART movie and Surreal Softwares’ DRAKAN: THE ANCIENT GATES video game to name a few on an expanding list. However, Capcoms' MONSTER HUNTER & James Gurneys’ DINOTOPIA remains the most relevant in my work; the designs, nature and soul of the franchises ring true for me as an individual.

My focus is to create creatures with realistic anatomy in mind - though drawing from sources as they are is certainly part of my criteria of experience. I want to expand into foliage and environments to create full illustrations.

A common presence in my work is LiskNa The Grey, a scale-less dragonelle ♀️ from the realm of Nat'Haer; the homeworld of my dragon race. Her visage is stamped everywhere in my online presence and could be identified as a reflection of myself. She has deep roots in one of my older, more developed stories.
